- We offer a free foot massage for each consumer (at the discretion of the consumer).
- We make the transfer from your current provider seamless.
- We offer a staff wellness program where staff have access to discounted podiatry services.
- All areas of Podiatry are provided such as; falls risk assessments, footwear assessments/recommendations, biomechanical/gait assessment, orthotic therapy and pain management we offer more than basic nail care.
- The Podiatrist will supply their phone number for phone consultations to discuss cases and provide advice as required.
- The Podiatrist would make himself/herself available for any urgent cases.
- Two hours of professional development in foot care are provided to help staff in maintaining professional education requirements.
- We work onsite with the residents doctors to place each resident onto a Medicare (CDM) plan if appropriate and bulk bill for podiatry via this service.
- We manage all the CDM (medicare) paper work so no staff time is taken up with this process and management.
- We work closely with clinical/caring staff and provide a through handover highlighting any issues and management strategies.
- No Hidden costs a flat rate for each consumer seen.
- We allow at a minimum 20 minutes for each consultation.
- No long wait between visits, we visit every 2 weeks.
- We see each consumer in their room or a treatment room, not in communal areas.
- Most consumers are seen every 8 weeks, depending on clinical needs.
- Consumers are only seen as clinically required.
- Only sterile instruments and wound care products are used.
- We leave all the documentation onsite and produce comprehensive podiatry care plans and assessments, which assist the accreditation process.
